The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) was in need of a complete Tribal Council House AV upgrade in order to support the people of the Cherokee nation with governance communication. EBCI audio video specialist selected the TAIDEN 4100 conference system, supported by Media Vision, as the best solution for audio reinforcement and voting.

This state-of-the-art boardroom at an international bank organization was the first installation of the TAIDEN HCS-8300 Series Paperless Multimedia Congress system. Incorporating a 10” touch screen display, the Multimedia Terminals are advanced conferencing units giving delegates access to a unique set of features including: 10 channels of HD video, file server, MS Office document viewing, screen sharing or teleprompter.

Push-to-talk Conference Microphones to Enhance Speech Intelligibility at Shelby County

Media Vision supplied a fully digital conference system made up of one fully digital main unit and 19 microphone units for discussion. The TAIDEN push-to-talk microphones have detachable gooseneck with light-ring indicator when the delegate requests to speak. The units also have a built-in speaker for increased intelligibility; the speaker mutes when the microphone is activated to avoid feedback.

Push-to-Talk delegate stations with detachable gooseneck microphones, built-in loudspeakers, LCD, and voting buttons were installed within the council chamber to provide the Mayor, the Council Members and the staff with an easy to use device for increasing intelligibility and capturing meeting data.
