Location: Oakland, CA | Room Type: Legislative Chamber
The Oakland Housing Authority (OHA) selected a state-of-the-art Digital Conference System, provided by Media Vision, to improve communication and decision-making during its council meetings addressing the increasing need for housing assistance.
The system selected for each Commissioner and the Executive Director is a TAIDEN HCS-4887 push-to-talk microphone with built-in speaker, voting buttons and an LCD screen to view voting results and other relevant information. The powerful TAIDEN software let the OHA develop a seating chart, handle the request-to-speak list, display voting items and capture all meeting information.
The conference system supplied by Media Vision provided all needed features at a cost much lower than that of the original design that included a complex control system setup. Media Vision was able to provide a high-end solution without the high-end cost.
